Just last week we got a glimpse of some teasing photos of the 2011 Hyundai Azera, and today, Hyundai is releasing another series of images of the all-new Hyundai Azera. Hyundai has been recently releasing a barrage of its new vehicle lineup, and the Azera is the latest edition of the bunch, which will be sold as the Grandeur in certain markets.

Hyundai is offering more choices for customers, where the 2011 Hyundai Azera will be positioned between the Sonata and the Genesis in Hyundai’s lineup. The 2011 Hyundai Azera is a front wheel drive car whereas the Genesis is rear-wheel-drive and performance-focused. In that sense, the Azera will be equipped with V6 engines to further differentiate it from the Sonata, which is available exclusively with four-cylinder units.

According to Hyundai’s North American boss, Krafcik, “We have changed everything, it’s a remarkable car. It will surprise a lot of people.” He further said that the 2011 Azera “is not that far away.”

Initially, the 2011 Hyundai Azera will be releasing in South Korea and other markets as the Grandeur. But the Azera version will be released thereafter in North Americas in 2012.
