Lexus GS-F maybe due in early 2012 to compete with BMW M5

Yet another round of rumors of the Lexus GS-F is rumbling on the Internet. Lexus maybe expanding its new ‘F’ lineup to compete with the likes of BMW’s M and Mercedes-Benz’s AMG.  Road & Track reports that the new Lexus GS-F will be the top-of-line model in the GS model range, which will provide a much more sportiness with more aggressive appearance and a power boost.

Sources within Toyota say that power for the GS-F will come from a 5.0L V8 engine making around 465-hp, just like the Lexus IS-F. In addition, the GS-F will have substantial reduction in weight as well to make it a serious performer. Toyota seeks to achieve the Lexus GS-F’s weight at about 3,700 pounds.

The combination of increase horsepower and light weight will allow the Lexus GS-F to sprint from 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds, which is a formidable challenger against the BMW M5 and the Mercedes-Benz E 63 AMG.

The Lexus GS-F is expected to hit markets as early as 2012 with a price range between $90,000 to $100,000.  Although we don’t have actual photos of the GS-F yet, but here is a list for some of the accessories that we can expect from the new Lexus GS-F based on the F Sports:
