Hyundai is bringing its newly anticipated sports coupe to the 2011 Detroit Motor Show next January, and it appears from a brand new teaser video clip that the car will indeed be called Veloster. This ends months of speculation that the affordable design could be named something else.
Hyundai has also released a very short video clip of the Hyundai Veloster, but it’s pretty much a teaser clip at this point. The clip tells us the Hyundai Veloster might have a direct-injected engine and a dual-clutch gearbox, which Hyundai claims that it has an estimated fuel economy of 40 miles per gallon. At this point we can only stare at the bright blue LED lights of this teaser shot.
Watch the short video clip if you want to get in the Hyundai’s blue trance.
