Ford has been coming out on top lately this year with a bunch of awards such as Popular Mechanics and Truck of Texas.  Now the Ford Fusion is taken first place in the 2010 Motor Trend Car of the Year award.  The Fusion bested out 23 contenders which included the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, BMW 7 Series and Mercedes-Benz E-Class to win this prestigious award.

The Ford Fusion won the 2010 Motor Trend Car of the Year award on two strong points.   First, the Ford Fusion is America’s top 10-selling vehicles and the No. 1-selling domestic car.  Secondly, the Ford Fusion is America’s most fuel-efficient midsize sedan for both hybrid and conventional gasoline models.

The Fusion Hybrid with an EPA estimated 41 mpg rating in the city and 36 mpg on the highway tops the Toyota Camry hybrid by 8 mpg in the city and 2 mpg on the highway.  In the four-cylinder engine, the Ford Fusion has a highway fuel economy at 34 mpg tops the Toyota Camry four-cylinder by 2 mpg.  Hey, that is not much better mpg than the Toyota Camry but still better.  A win is a win.

Just bought a Fusion after much research and test drives. I4 SE.
It is the finest handling, quietest and most comfortable car I think I’ve ever driven.
If you want a great mid-sized sedan drive a Ford Fusion along with all the others. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Will Honda ever make a Limited Edition Civic with a 2.4L super charged that produce 300 hp and 240 pound-feet of torque? Tires size at P255/45ZR18 for front and rear.Gear ratio:1=2.4002=1.6143=1.0824=0.7735=0.5666=0.387Final drive should be at 3.55The curb weigh around 2,745 lbs.I think this setting should give it a better acceleration from 0-60 mph and better mpg when cruising! Cost around $25,025; 6MT or 6AT with OD. Wouldn’t be nice? Just a dream of mine. What do you guys think?
