Ford plans to release an all-electric Focus by this year, and today, we got a first glimpse of a teaser image from Ford. We certainly have noted for a while now that Ford is planning an all-electric version of its latest generation Focus subcompact.
The all-new Focus Electric is likely to make its debut at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which runs from January 6 to 9, and later in 2012 for Europe. The new model will be built at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant.
Ford has previously announced that when the Focus Electric will be initially available only in Washington, D.C. and other 14 states. It is expected the all-new Ford Focus Electric will have a range of around 100 miles with the use of lithium-polymer batteries.
