British exotic automaker Arash is planning to unleash the behemoth 1000 horsepower supercar Arash AF-10. First the Bugatti Veyron with 1000 hp, now the Arash AF-10.  We thought the horse race time was over but we thought wrong.  As car manufacturers  are trying to develop more leaner, agile and fuel efficient cars, British exotic automaker Arash is moving the opposite direction with the Arash AF-10.
The Arash AF-10 gets its power from GM’s 7.0-liter V8 engine, which is found in the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. In normal aspirated condition, the 7.0 V8 engine able to muster out 505 hp with 475 lb-ft of torque. But Arash didn’t stop there, it fitted the engine with a supercharger and intercooler to produce 850 horsepower in its top of the line model. Â Arash final goal is to produce a 1000 horsepower (700 lb-feet of torque)Â supercar to compete with the Bugatti Veyron, of course.
In the Arash AF-10, the Corvette engine is mated with a 6-speed manual Graziano GT-ME1 gearbox. Â At 1000 horsepower, Â we can safely assume that it can launch from 0-60 in just under 3 seconds, perhaps maybe 2.7 seconds. Â This 0-60 number is comparable to the Bugatti Veyron’s number at 2.8 seconds. Â As far as top speed, the Arash AF-10 can hit up to 220 mph.
If you got dough, the Arash AF-10 is yours for  $533,066.
