It is expected from our report last year that the next-generation Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe will be out somewhere in 2013, and today, we got news that it will make its first appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in March. And there were a few photos leaked of the two-door coupe as well from GMotors.
From some of previous spy photos and these new photos, we can see that the 2012 C-Class Coupe resemble the current style of other current Merecedes-Benz cars, which we can see clearly in the front fascia but without the usual quad fog lights. Interestingly, it uses a single LED light unit instead, which we think is a much suitable enhancement than the odd-looking quad fog light setup. In addition, the new 2012 C-Class Coupe does not feature the pillarless design like other Mercedes coupes.
Based on speculations, the all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be equipped the same array of engines as the sedan, which means that either a 3.0-liter V6 with 228 horsepower or a 3.5-liter V6 with 268 horsepower.
The all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class looks promising, and we’ll have more details as it will emerge before the Geneva Motor Show in March. And hopefully, we get to see more details of the entry level C-Class.
