Honda is planning to release a version of its own of mini station wagon much like the Toyota’s Prius van. The new station-wagon is based on the Honda Fit, which it is called the Fit Shuttle, couldn’t be more obvious. It may be accidental or just an advertisement scheme, the new brochure of the 2012 Honda Fit Shuttle was just leaked over the Internet.
The mini station wagon is apparently featuring a longer body with taller roofline and a renovated back. As we can tell in these photos, the 2012 Fit Shuttle will be available in two styles, a Hybrid model is driven by a 1.3 liter i-VTEC engine introduced for the five-door hatchback version, and a more potent version with a standard 1.5-liter gasoline engine.
The 2012 Honda Fit Shuttle will probably be released in Japan market over the following couple weeks with sales to commence close to March.
