Mazda is making magic with its introduction of the Mazda Minagi concept. It’s a beautiful crossover concept model that may soon to join the Mazda CUV lineup. It takes on the same design cue as the Mazda Shinari concept, which was debuted at the Geneva Auto Show last year.
Unlike the Mazda Shinari concept, the Mazda Minagi has a very good chance of making to the production stage (fingers crossed.) Mazda is in need of such a fresh crossover vehicle design, and hopefully it will come to reality.
The KODO theme is a hint of Mazda’s next design cue for its future cars, and such a car with the KODO influence is the Minagi concept that is set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
When the Mazda Minagi gets to the production stage, which we think it is likely, it may be called the CX-5 or the Minagi (we like the Minagi name.) Actually, the small CUV CX-5 is currently under testing.
Just a few hours we unleashed leaked news about the Mazda Minagi Concept, Mazda officially released a bit of information about its new crossover.
The Mazda Minagi CUV (crossover utility vehicle) is set to make its world premiere at the 2011 Geneva motor show, which will be held from March 1-13, 2011. The Mazda Minagi concept is designed on Mazda’s new SKYACTIV technologies and its new KODO design theme, meaning Soul of Motion.
