We know that the revised 2012 Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and there have been a few changes to the front fascia of which we got a glimpse on our previous report. But today, photos have been leaked out giving us a full picture of the new 2012 Mercedes-Benz.
As you can see from the photos, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class gets a new front bumper with new cleaner-look LED daytime running lights. In addition, a new set of headlights and the radiator grille covered with a chrome strip. For the rear end, LED tail lamps are added as well. Also, a set of new 18-inch alloy wheels are added along with new brakes.
As for the powertrain, AMG used the same 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 457 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission. This setup provides a 0-62 mph acceleration in just 4.5 seconds with top speed of 174 mph. As reported earlier, there is also an AMG Performance Package that raises the the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C 63’s power output to 481 hp. The Performance Package also includes a few interior tweaks, a carbon fiber trunk spoiler and red calipers that clamp onto 14.2-inch front discs along with Nappa leather and Alcantara.
The revised 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class will go on sale this fall.
