As if people still need another luxury SUV, Lexus is introducing the second generation GX 460 SUV for 2010. Not only its style is out of date but it is also expensive. Â I would rather get a Cadillac SUV instead; I just don’t see the luxury in this Lexus Luxury GX 460. Â The 2010 GX 460 SUV is equipped with a new 301-hp V8 and six-speed transmission. Â The 2010 GX460 SUV will replace the GX 470 model. Â Lexus claims that the new 2010 GX 460 will be more powerful, more efficient, quieter and more luxurious than the GX 470. Â Well, Â what I see here is more money out of the customers’ pockets. Â And you thought that the SUV is dead.
Here is the low-down of this gas guzzler. It has a 4.6-liter V8 engine that produces 301 horsepower and 329 lb-feet of maximum torque, and it is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift. Â Fuel economy for this gas guzzler is estimated at 15 mpg city and 20 mpg highway. Â So unless you are buying this to tow your boat, don’t bother driving it around town; it’ll just eat up your wallet.
