The Mitsuoka Himiko all-electric roadster made appearance at the 2011 Japan EV show. Since its announcement of last year, the Mitsuoka Himiko made a few improvements over its electrical system and added green color to its retro-style look.
TGMY who made the conversion of the two-seater the stated that the Mitsuoka Himiko all-electric roadster can last up to 341.8 miles on a single charge, and that is the longest range ever in the the EV segment.
The normal Mitsuoka Himiko comes with a 2.0 liter DOHC gas engine and a 6-speed manual, but TGMY made the conversion to an all-electric car that features an AC induction motor, lithium polymer battery pack, and controller from Azure Dynamics coupled to a 2-speed transmission.
