New photos of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe just emerged on the web. We got a glimpse of it during the Mercedes-Benz’s Super Bowl commercial, in which it was shot along with the SLS AMG Roadster.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe is designed to compete with the BMW 1 and 3 Series coupes. Here we see in the photos, much of the design is similar to the new C-Class sedan. It has similar front end, but a unique styling from the A-pillars and a more raked roofline due to its coupe style. As for the interior, it is identical to the new C-Class sedan as well, which could use a bit of luxury improvements.
We can expect the engines to be in the range from a turbocharged four-cylinder engine to the standard 302-hp V6 gasoline engine that are found similar in the new C-Class sedan. But there may be an AMG version for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which may come in with a V8 engine to compete with the BMW 1 M and M3 models.
We are still curious of how much an AMG sport package will cost when compared to the BMW 1M and M3 models; no doubt that it won’t be cheap, and lets hope not that it doesn’t top over the BMW’s prices.
