Nuts Award goes to Ford Focus RS in Europe

Another Car of Year 2009 award goes to the Ford Focus RS in Europe, but this time instead of Motor Trend, it belongs to Nuts magazine in Europe.  Hence, we got a Nuts Car of the Year 2009 award.  Those damn crazy Europeans are always trying to be hipped and catchy in everything, even to the name.  According to Nuts magazine, the Ford Focus RS won the Car of the Year 2009 award because it is an affordable and ridiculously fun to drive car.

This latest award joins the Scottish ‘sporting’ Car of the Year 2009 award presented earlier this month, and it gives Ford an added boost on sales of these hatchbacks.  So far, more than 2,000 orders have been placed for a total sale orders of about 4,000 cars in the United Kingdom.
