German tuning company, AC Schnitzer is known for its BMW tuning, just announced its newly tuned diesel-powered BMW Z4 roadster and the gasoline-powered BMW 5 Series for the 2011 Geneva Motor Show this week.
The tuned BMW Z4 is powered by a 2.0-liter diesel engine producing 190 horsepower, and while the BMW 5 Series is powered by a 4.4-liter turbocharged V8 gasoline engine producing 540 horsepower.
AC Schitzer claims the diesel-powered BMW Z4 roadster can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 6.9 seconds and with a top speed 145 miles per hour. And the gasoline-powered BMW 5 Series can accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 199 mph.
