The Ford Fiesta is well received in America and all over the world, so Ford is extending its success with the personalization of the 2012 Ford Fiesta by offering unique exterior graphics and LED lighting to let customers create their own Fiesta design.
Starting with the 2012 Ford Fiesta in the SEL or SES trims, customers can choose a variety of two-tone interior color schemes, which are red and black or white and black; Ford called the color schemes as Oxford White and Race Red. In addition, the premium sport appearance package offers customers several blacked-out components along with a performance enhancement when purchased with a manual transmission. These components include side mirrors, headlamps, grille surround, license plate header, upper rear hatch spoiler, 16-inch polished alloy wheels, and a shorter final drive ratio of 4.25 versus the base model at 4.07 to make the Ford a bit brisker.
“The Fiesta customer loves accessories and personalization. These packages extend the desire the customer has to make the car more tailored to his or her own personal tastes,” said Lew Echlin, Global Car marketing manager. “Personalization has been key since the Fiesta launched, and with the new packages we’re featuring the latest design trends so customers can do even more with their car.”
Another exterior feature is the Ford Custom Graphics by Original Wraps, which let customers choose more than 22 designs are available in several different colors, and include a cityscape, bubbles, flames and even ninja blades. And as for the interior, customers can choose for several choices of interior illumination colors. There is an illuminated gear indicator shift knob that comes with a digital gear display, and illuminated door sill plates with LED Fiesta Logo.
