Audi has just announced pricing on its all-new 2012 A7 Sportback, which will be making its way to U.S. showrooms later this month with a starting price of $59,250 for the base Premium version, not including a $875 destination charge. That places the A7 in the middle between the $45,200 Audi A6 and the $78,050 Audi A8.
The gorgeous 2012 Audi A7 Sportback for the U.S. will get a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 gasoline engine that is paired to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission along with the quattro all-wheel drive system. The supercharged V6 engine makes 310 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of peak torque. This enables it to accelerate 0-60mph in just 4.5 seconds with a top speed of 155 mph.
As for fuel economy rating, the 2012 Audi A7 Sportback yields 18 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, and with a 22 mpg combined.
Jump to the Premium Plus model and you’re checking out at a base price of $62,810 ($63,685 with destination). The Plus variant adds Audi Connect plus MMI Navigation Plus with MMI Touch controls.
Lastly is the top-of-the-line Prestige model that starts at $65,580 ($66,455 with destination), which includes four-zone climate control, full-time LED headlamps, 12-way power front seats with ventilation and a Bose sound system. The fully loaded 2012 Audi A7 Sportcheck could set you at about $80,000.
The 2012 Audi A7 Sportback comes with an abundant of standard features, which include 18-inch alloy wheels with all-season tires, Xenon plus headlights with LED daytime lights, leather seats, power, heated front seats with driver lumbar support, an automatic power tailgate, SIRIUS satellite radio, Bluetooth telephone and music player connection, sunroof, 3-zone automatic climate control and automatic headlights with light/rain sensors.
