Audi has just confirmed that it will be unveiling its 2012 Q3 crossover at the Shanghai Motor Show later this month. Along with the confirmation news, Audi released a few sketches of the 2012 Q3 for the public.
The 2012 Audi Q3 will be based on Volkswagen Tiguan’s platform, which means that the 200-hp turbocharged four-cylinder will be carried over to the Audi Q3 as well, and a diesel variant as an option for Europe.
If released, the 2012 Q3 is expected to compete with the new Mercedes-Benz A-Class hatchback. The VW Tiguan is an expensive car, could the 2012 Audi Q3 be more affordable? We expect it to be so. Stay tuned as we will have more details near its debut date.
