The 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 is not available in “the land of down under,” but it got something else better, and that something is the 2011 Boss 335 GT. It even squeezes out 10 more horsepower than the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302.
The 2011 Boss 335 GT is equipped with same supercharged DOHC 5.0-liter V8 engine found in the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302 in the U.S, and it is mated to a TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. According to Ford, the Boss 335 GT pushes out 450 horsepower and sit on a frame that is lighter than the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302. No comparison has been done between two yet, but we will put our money on the 2011 Boss 335 GT anytime. And to backup the 2011 Boss 335 GT’s performance, the four-time Australian Touring Car champ Allan Moffat at the wheel even endorses it in the video below.
For stopping power, the 2011 Boss 335 GT comes with 335 x 32mm cross-drilled and ventilated front rotors with Brembo 4-piston calipers and 328 x 26mm cross-drilled and ventilated rear rotors with single red piston caliper.
The Ford Boss 355 GT looks aggressive and agile at the same time. The exterior styling is presented with exclusive Boss 335 stripe package, a set of new 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, and a quad outlet exhaust system.
The 2011 Boss 335 GT is priced at AU $70,000, which is around US $70,300. Too bad, the U.S. won’t get the 2011 Boss 335 GT anytime soon.
