2013 Audi A3 will be available in four body styles

Audi plans to expand its A3 lineup for next year. Its plan is to have a three-door model, five-door model, a sedan, and lastly a convertible version. Today, it released a few sketches of the new 2013 Audi A3 in these new body styles.

With these new body configurations, we expect the new 2013 Audi A3 to have a diverse of engine offerings as well. Audi’s goal is have all of its vehicles to be fuel efficient in the future, and it means that along with the gasoline and diesel powered engines, it will be offering natural gas, hybrid and full electric versions as well.

From looking at the A3 sedan sketch, it is very similar to the Audi A4 sedan.  And if prices of the 2013 Audi A3 are justifiable, we expect it to steal a chunk of sales from the Audi A4 version.

Expect for the production 2013 Audi A3 to debut at the Geneva Motor Show next year. We are not sure what A3 body styles will be available, but we are sure that the 2013 Audi A3 hatchback will be ready for the production.
