Bugatti just unveiled its two latest, fastest production cars at the 2011 Shanghai Auto Show, the Grand Sport Veyron and Super Sport Veyron.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is probably the most powerful and fastest convertible car in the world. It is powered by a 980-hp engine with a screaming 1,000 lb-ft of torque. It has a top speed of 224 mph. The Bugatti Grand Sport Veyron is finished in matte white with blue carbon fiber, with a complementing blue interior with white stitching.
While the Veyron Super Sport holds its own track record. It is powered by an even more powerful engine that is rated at 1,100 horsepower. To reach the 1,100 horsepower range, the 16-cylinder engine is equipped with four enlarged turbochargers and intercoolers. The Veyron Super Sport is finished in black with carbon trimmings all around. The carbon look continues to the inside, sheathing the doors and inset in the central console. The rest is in highly exclusive “Snow Beige” leather.
