Suzuki just unveiled its hybrid Kizashi EcoCharge concept at the 2011 New York Auto Show. The Kizashi EcoCharge concept is powered by a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine along with an electric motor.
The new Suzuki Kizashi EcoCharge hybrid is also available with start/stop technology, regenerative brake and low-rolling resistance tires, which all to help boost the Kizashi’s estimated fuel economy rating to 37.5 miles per gallon on the highway, and that is close to the 40-mpg magic number that auto manufacturers are aiming in their hybrid vehicles.
The Suzuki Kizashi EcoCharge hybrid is still pretty much in a concept form, but from looks, we will like see it by the end of 2012. And hopefully, pricing isn’t expensive like other hybrid vehicles. Stay tuned as we will have more details come out.
