With an improved interior, more powerful engine, decent handling, good fuel economy and lots of standard equipments, the 2011 Lincoln MKX is better engineered and tightly built vehicle. When it comes to midsize SUV, buyers usually prefer General Motors Cadillac SRX over Ford’s Lincoln MKX. However, I actually prefer MKX to the SRX due to better fuel economy, excellent fit and finish as well as decent acceleration.

Beware of the dual climate control air conditioner, the regional rep stated the 2010 system will not be improved, the automatic mode system does not allow sufficient cooling when the ambient temp inside the vehicle is 80 degrees or less. The comfort must be attained by switching to manual and increasing the fan speed and dropping the temp to 60 for max cooling also changing the air to recirculate. This is lots of steps for such an expensive vehicle.

Damn, can you say garbage? Typical of a Lincoln though. They hoped the previous MKX would be a hit in it's segment, and like all of their other cars it was a fail, and this...once again will be a fail. All this is anyway is a gussied up Ford Edge, same body, windows, rear, and frontal set up. How sad. Ford, maybe Lincoln needs an also necessary fate as did Mercury.
