Toyota has announced yet another voluntarily recall of the 2011 Tundra pickup trucks due to potential faulty driveshaft.  According to Toyota, about 51,000 units are affected by this recall, which accounts about .05 percent of the vehicles that may have been built with a faulty slip yoke on the driveshaft.

There is a potential for the yoke to break in some cases, but so far, no incident has been reported of an accident or injury. Toyota says that owners will begin receiving recall notices next month, and owners can take their trucks in for an inspection and repair at no cost.

Owners of the affected 2011 Tundra pickup trucks can contact Toyota Customer Experience Center at 1-800-331-4331 for detailed information  about this recall.
