The current Alfa Romeo MiTo comes in 17 variations in the UK, and Alfa is adding a few more variations to it lineup with three new fuel-efficient engines and a slightly facelift.
The front-wheel drive, three-door hatchback Mito now receives a revised 1.4-liter MultiAir engine producing 78 horsepower and the 1.4-liter MultiAir engine producing 105 horsepower, along with a 1.3-liter JTDM-2 diesel engine. While the most powerful engine 1.4-liter MultiAir engine remains the same with 170 horsepower.
Alfa claims that the new fuel-efficient engines provide a fuel reduction and CO2 emissions up to 30 percent. These engines are currently found in the Fiat 500, which is now equipped with “Normal ” and “ECO” settings in the MiTo.
To streamline the 2012 Alfa Romeo Mito offerings, its catalog got reduced to nine variations. And the new name variations include the Progression, Sprint, Distinctive and Quadrifoglio Verde.
