BenzBoost.com got a hold of a dealer order guide for the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class range from one of its users. From previous news, Mercedes-Benz decided not to offer such a station wagon here in the U.S. But from the dealer order guide, it seems to confirm that the E63 AMG Wagon will be available in the U.S. later this year.
The 2012 Mercedes-Benz E-Class station wagon is powered by the twin-turbocharged 5.5 V8 engine found in the E63 sedan. The engine is mated with a 7-speed MCT dual-clutch transmission along with start/stop technology for fuel saving.
Along with the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Wagon, the dealer order guide also confirms our previous report of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz E550 sedan as well. It is powered by a 4.6-liter twin-turbo V8 engine producing 402 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque, which will be available with 4Matic all-wheel drive.
Stay tuned, we’ll the official debut to you soon since this news is already leaked. Definitely, we are going to see one hot shoot-out between the E63 AMG Wagon and the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon.
