Ferrari plans to show off its Superamerica 45 at the Villa d’Este Concours d’Eleganza in Italy this weekend. The Ferrari Superamerica 45 was built to order for New York billionaire to celebrate the 45th anniversary of his Ferrari purchase in 1961.
The Ferrari Superamerica 45 was designed and built in-house, which is based on the Ferrari 599. The unique custom bodywork and a rotating carbon-fiber roof set the Superamerica 45 apart from the standard model. This looks similar to the mechanism used on the Ferrari 575-based Superamerica, but featured a more simple soft-top cover.
The Ferrari Superamerica 45 is painted in Blu Antille. The alloy wheels are colored in the same blue color while the roof and other carbon-fiber elements such as the front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser are painted in a darker blue shade.
Other custom details include the double air vents on the front wing, a chromed grille, wing mirrors and door handles along with brushed aluminum A-pillars.
