The 2012 Honda Civic just made its debut a few months ago, and already Honda is recalling 1,156 Civics over faulty O-rings that could lead to a potential fuel leak.

The problem is the misaligned of the O-ring that seals a connection between the fuel line that leads to the engine, and this problem could ignite a fire if the fuel leaks directly onto the hot engine bay.

Owners of the affected 2012 Honda Civic sedans and coupes can bring their cars to any Honda dealership for an inspection and replacement free of charge. Honda plans to issue an official recall statement to affected owners by the end of this month.
