The 2012 Opel Zafira Tourer has just unveiled before the Frankfurt Motor Show. The 2012 Opel Zafira Tourer is an MPV version, which has been redesigned with an aerodynamic bodywork and a distinctive front bumper.
“The Zafira is Opel’s flexibility icon, and we wanted to bring more emotion and premium qualities into its third generation,” says Mark Adams, Vice President, Opel/Vauxhall Design. “The Opel Zafira Tourer makes a statement with its sleek, sporty look and premium feel.”
The 2012 Opel Zafira Tourer Opel is compact minivan that has been redesign to be a bit bigger and reworked of its suspension system to provide a more comfortable and stable ride than its predecessor. In addition, it features a foldable second- and third-row seating feature.The second row contains three independent seats, with each seat can slide back and forth over a total of 210 millimeters.
When it comes to the interior, the high-quality of craftsmanship in the cabin is dominated with dynamic, sculptural shapes to provide a feeling of roomy comfort. Also, the driver’s visibility has been significantly improved due to an entirely re-designed front layout with slim A-pillars, large side windows and side rear view mirrors that are now mounted on the door panel.
Power is provided for the 2012 Opel Zafira with three 2.0-liter CDTI diesel engine configurations and two 1.4-liter ECOTEC gasoline engines. The four-cylinder diesel engines come in 110-, 130- and 165-horsepower alternatives. And in the 1.4-liter gasonline engines, it carries either a 120 hp or 140 hp. All engine choices are matted to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 2012 Opel Zafira Tourer will be launched by this fall in Europe.
