Mercedes-Benz introduces the GL-Class Grand Edition for luxury car buyers


Mercedes-Benz just introduced a new Grand Edition lineup of the GL-Class SUV for buyers who want a bit more luxury in the SUV. The GL-Class Grand Edition features 20-inch alloy wheels and two-tone leather seats along with a newly designed and black-ash wood trim cabin.

Appearance wise, the GL-Class Grand Edition features a revised front bumper with blacked-out headlights and integrated LED daytime running lamps. The grey metallic rims match the aluminum-look running boards, the front underbody protection panel and the separated exhaust tailpipe trim.

The GL-Class Grand Edition is offered with a variety of engines, which includes from the V6 gasoline and diesel units in the GL 350 BlueTEC 4Matic (211 hp) and GL 350 CDI 4Matic (265 hp) to the V8 gasoline engines in the GL 450 (340 hp) and GL 500 (388 hp). All engines are fitted with the 4Matic all-wheel drive system, Airmatic air suspension, Direct-Steer system and Adaptive Damping System.

The Mercedes-Benz GL-Class Grand Edition will have starting prices at €80,206 for the GL350 CDI BlueEfficiency Grand Edition and as high as €99,127 for the top-of-the-line GL500.
