Hyundai has just announced pricing for the new i40 Tourer in the UK. The entry level station wagon starts £18,395, and that is comparable to the Vauxhall Insignia Sports Tourer (£19,350).
The Hyundai i40 Tourer wagon is available in three trim levels of Active, Style and Premium. There are four engine options including a 1.6-liter gasoline engine, a 1.7 -liter diesel engine with either a 115 hp or 136 hp, and a 177-hp 2.0-liter gasoline engine. To save fuel, all engines come with Hyundai’s start/stop technology.
The Hyundai i40 Tourer Active version comes with standard equipment such as 16-inch alloy wheels, Bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, leather steering wheel with audio controls, electric heated door mirrors with integrated LED indicators, electric front and rear windows and electric parking brake with automatic hold function.
And while the Style version gets a touch screen satellite navigation with rear view camera, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control and dual zone climate control.
Lastly, the top-of-the-line Premium model comes with leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry and LCD color display instrument panel. In addition, optional equipment such as Lane Departure Warning and Smart Parking Assist, heated leather steering wheel and ventilated front seats are available as well.
The Hyundai i40 Tourer wagon will be available at UK dealerships by early September.
