After five years since its introduction in 2006, the new 2012 Chevrolet Impala shows less promising. Fans were hoping for a complete redesign of the new 2012 Impala, instead they got a “face-palm”.
The new 2012 Chevrolet Impala barely shows any differences to the 2006 model; we barely noticed some cosmetic changes, and what a disappointment it is to see the same old 90’s design of the Impala. To make up for this disappointment, General Motors equipped it with a new 3.6-liter V6 engine producing around 300 horsepower. It features direct-injection technology and E85 Flex-fuel capability. The new engine is mated to a standard six-speed automatic transmission.
Seems like GM got lazy again with its rebound from the bankruptcy. All and all, the new 2012 Chevrolet Impala with its 90’s design just hurts our eyes when we look at it.
