New 2012 Chevy Caprice police cars are on patrolled in U.S.

The first batch of the 2012 Chevy Caprice police cars are on patrolled on the streets of America. The Australian-built 2012 Chevrolet Caprice PPV police cruisers were sold to about 23 law agencies in May, and more will come to a neighborhood near you.

The 2012 Chevy Caprice police car shares the same platform with the Chevrolet Camaro and the Pontiac G8 sedan, and it is powered by either a V6 or V8 engine. The most powerful engine is a 6.0-liter V8 with Active Fuel Management technology and E85 fuel capability. The V8 produces 355 horsepower and 385 lb-ft of torque, and can sprint from 0-60 in just 6 seconds.

The  rear-wheel-drive 2012 Chevy Caprice is replacing out the front-wheel-drive Chevrolet Impala police car model. So, all we can say is slow down or else you will be seeing one in your rear-view mirror.
