Rumor has it that Mercedes-Benz is putting the ML Class to pasture, but photos of the all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML Class were leaked yesterday on the Internet. And today, Mercedes-Benz followed up with the official photo release of the mid-size SUV.
No details on the specs just yet, but we did learn that the all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML Class mid-size SUV will get a turbocharged 2.1-liter four-cylinder diesel engine to its engine lineup. The diesel engine is said to produce around 200 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. In addition, a hybrid version based on the same diesel engine will follow in the coming months after the official release.
In other engine options, the all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML Class will also get a V6 and V8 gasoline engines as well as a more powerful V6 diesel engine. And of course, the most powerful model is the AMG version, which will get the latest 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
The all-new 2012 Mercedes-Benz ML Class will make its world premiere at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show this fall. More details are coming up, so stay tuned.
