BMW has announced the new 2011 BMW Frozen Black M3 Coupe limited edition for the U.S. market, which only 20 units will be built at a hefty price of $79,650, including a $875 destination charge.
BMW will begin taking orders for the 2011 BMW Frozenn Black M3 Coupe on June 16, 2011, with the first come first serve basis. The hefty price tag of this limited M3 is about $21,000 over the standard M3 Coupe. So, what do you get for such a premium hike? Well, nothing much but comestic upgrades.
With a $21,000 premium, the new 2011 BMW Frozen Black M3 Coupe limited edition will get a Frozen Black hue paint job, black-gloss finish19-inch GTS wheels, new fender vents, exhaust tips, 10 mm lowered suspension, and a new ECU fuel map. In addition, the package also comes with red-colored brake calipers, and black Novillo leather interior with contrasting red stitching and carbon fiber accents for a sinister look.
The 2011 BMW Frozen Black M3 Coupe comes with a 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 414-horsepower. The Frozen Black coupes will only be available with the M DCT dual-clutch transmission, which lowers the 0-60 time from 4.7 seconds to 4.5 seconds.
On the amenity side, the Frozen Black M3 Coupe will be fitted with optional equipment such as heated seats, satellite radio and a premium sound system.
