2011 Audi A1 tuned to 165 horsepower by Senner Tuning


Senner Tuning took the first stab at modifying the new version of 2011 Audi A1. The new2011 Audi A1 is equipped with a small displacement engine of a 1.4-liter TFSI four-cylinder engine, which is even smaller than the previous 1.6-liter TDI engine offering. Senner Tuning had previous modified the 1.6-liter TDI engine, but now the German tuning firm returns with the modification of the 1.4-liter TFSI.

Senner Tuning boosted the horsepower of the 1.4-liter TFSI engine from 120 horsepower to 165 horsepower by modifying the fuel system, air box and exhaust. The net result is about 45 horsepower increase, which is considerably a lot without some type of a turbocharger or supercharger modification.

To make the Senner Audi A1 stands apart, the tuning company added white 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in low-profile tires along with new adjustable suspension setup that can be lowered to about 1.5 inches. In addition, white trim on the roof pillars and door mirrors as well as a full aero kit for a more aggressive stance.

As for the interior, it is donned with a few new gadgets and decorations, such as a multi-function steering wheel and two-tone black and beige leather upholstery.

The modification package from Senner Tuning is not cheap. It is priced at around 10,000 euros ($14,200). You can buy the whole car with all the modifications for about 36,590 euros ($52,000).
