Aston Martin V12 Zagato preparing for ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hours

The new Aston Martin V12 Zagato just took top design award at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, and just as promised, Aston Martin is taking it to the Nürburgring track to get ready for an enduring race.

The Aston Martin V12 Zagato not only looks good but it is just as fast with its new V12 engine at the Nürburgring track.  The show car was modified into the number 3 race car with the nickname ‘Zag’ and will be driven in the 24 hour race by Aston Martin CEO, Dr. Ulrich Bez.

“As ever, the race will present an enormous challenge in a vast and increasingly competitive field which will be fraught with all the unpredictable elements associated with racing at the Nürburgring. However, we are excited by the potential we have seen from the V12 Zagato in the testing we’ve completed and that gives us great hope for the task ahead. We look forward to a safe, successful and enjoyable race for our teams and customers.”

The 39th ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hour race starts at 4pm CET on Saturday 25 June. Check out the video latest video below.
