Autoexpress, a UK magazine is putting these two supremes head to head in a quarter-mile race, and there can only be king of the hill. First, lets look at the Audi RS3 Sportback. It is more like a station wagon than a hatchback, but anyhow, Audi chose to categorize it as a wagon. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five-cylinder engine producing 340 horsepower and 331.90 lb-ft, and it mated to Audi’s signature all-wheel drive quattro system with a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
On the other hand is the BMW 1 Coupe designed to agile and quick. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder engine producing an identical 340 horsepower and 331.90 lb-ft as the Audi RS3 Sportback. One big difference here is the BMW 1 Coupe is a rear-wheel drive car that uses a 6-speed manual gearbox.
