The new Abarth’s Punto Evo model just hit the street with with more horsepower under its hood. In addition, Abart tuning firm added it with a body kit to show off its tuning spirit. While performance is increased, the Abarth’s Punto Evo puts out an exceptional 47.1 mpg on Euro 5 standard.
The performance kit from Abarth helps increase the 1.4-litre turbocharged engine’s power to 180 horsepower, which is about 15 horsepower more than the standard version. With an the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) upgraded along with the Garrett GT1446 fixed-geometry turbo, the Abarth Punto Evo able to accelerate from 0-62 mph in about 7.5 seconds and with a top speed of 134 mph.
The performance kit also adds other technical and cosmetic equipment. The Abarth’s Punto Evo has a 6-speed manual gearbox that features a switch selector for ‘Normal’ driving mode to ‘Sport’. It is equipped with disc brakes on four corners with Brembo M4x40 front callipers. In addition, Abarth lowered the car’s height with springs and Koni FSD dampers.

The Abarth’s performance kit for the Punto Evo will add another £3000 to the cost of a standard Abarth Punto Evo, which is at £16,852 OTR.
