Renault is introducing its latest creation of the Gordini edition, and this time is the Renault Clio Gordini hatchback, which is pretty much an appearance enhancement with no Gordini performance package. The Renault Clio Gordini edition will be available in both 3-door and 5-door hatchbacks.
The Renault Clio Gordini hatchback is based the body and engine options of the existing Clio GT version. That is a little bit disappointing consider the Gordini moniker is associated with performance. Anyhow, the Renault Clio Gordini edition hatchback gets white racing stripes over the hood, contrasting white 16-inch wheels, and Gordini interior accents. And in the interior, it gets leather-trimmed steering wheel with the upper part trimmed in grey, sports petals, black lacquered audio fascia, air-vents and dashboard strip along with Gordini badges.
As for the powertrain department, the Renault Clio Gordini hatchback will be powered by the same engine options available on the Clio GT, which include a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 128 horsepower or a 1.5-liter diesel engine producing 105 horsepower. Those power outputs are way less from other Gordini models.
The Renault Clio Gordini hatchbacks in the French market are priced as follow: the gasoline version starts from €18,450 (three-door version) and €19,050 (five-door version). While the diesel version starts from €20,750 (three- door version) and €21,350 (five-door version). In addition, the Renault Clio Gordini edition hatchback will be available in other markets as well, such as the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Austria Portugal, Spain, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia.
