2012 BMW M5 sports sedan performs live on the road


By now, we pretty much know all the ins and outs of the 2012 BMW M5. We’ve seen the 2012 BMW M5 Concept in motion during its tests, but we have truly witnessed the production performs in open roads. 

BMW has just released a new official video of the new 2012 M5, the highly anticipated sporty version of the 5 Series F10, makes its run on road. With the new electronic control system, the 2012 BMW M5 helps ease the driver through curves and turns.  The electronic trim, traction control and stability, engine and gearbox mapping is well tuned in the new BMW M5. With a press of the M button on the steering, the driver is able to select two different driving conditions, and the new setting is displayed on the instrument panel.

The new 2012 BMW M5 is equipped with a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 produces 560 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque, and is mated to the M DCT gearbox 7-speed dual-clutch limited-slip differential along with AD M multiple discs. And with the optional M Driver’s Package, top speed electronically limited to 190 mph instead of 155 mph.
