2012 Audi TT RS has arrived in U.S. and ready for grabs

For those who are waiting to buy the new 2012 Audi TT RS here in the U.S., wait no more, because it has officially arrived in the United States. Audi has announced that an Audi enthusiast has purchased the very first 2012 Audi TT RS from Fort Worth Audi in Texas.

The new 2012 Audi TT RS marks the return of the automaker’s RS performance line to the U.S. market since the last RS4 model. The new 2012 Audi TT RS is more powerful and fuel efficient than the RS4, which features a new 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder engine producing 360 horsepower and 343 pound-feet of torque.

“The technical capabilities of the Audi brand are perfectly distilled in the RS models developed by quattro GmbH,” said Johan de Nysschen, President, Audi of America. “For the past few years, American sports car enthusiasts have pleaded with us to make the marquee available here. With the TT RS we are now furthering the Audi performance story that includes models from the Audi S4 to the new Audi R8 GT.”

If you want to buy a 2012 Audi TT RS, get ready to folk down a hefty load of cash; it is priced at $56,850 (excluding $875 destination charges, taxes, title, options and dealer charges).
