2012 Ford Edge with turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost is rated at 30 mpg


Ford is making great improvement on its EcoBoost engine. The new 2012 Ford Edge equipped with a turbocharged four-cylinder EcoBoost engine is said to provide some impressive fuel economy figures.

The new 2012 Ford Edge with the turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine producing 240 horsepower and 275 pound-feet of torque, and according to Ford, it is rated at 30 miles per gallon on the highway by U.S. EPA. That’s about three miles per gallon better than the 3.5-liter V6 engine found currently on 2011 model.

Car buyers now a day are conscientious about the gas mileage, so at 30 mpg, the 2012 Ford Edge sure has an advantage over the competitors.
