Renault Samsung Motors has been developing a new luxury saloon in quiet a few years, and now it just released details on the new SM7 luxury sedan before the official debut next week in South Korea. The SM7 luxury sedan is cater to customers who want maximum comfort and luxury.
The all-new Renault Samsung Motors SM7 sedan is much larger than its predecessor to provide ample legroom. According to Renault Samsung Motors, knee room for rear passengers is up by more than 70mm over the previous SM7 sedan. The sedan is equipped with the latest technological innovations to provided conveniences and traveling comfort.
The Renault Samsung Motor SM7 sedan is powered by the lastest Nissan VQ engine series, which is available in two VQ engine configurations. A 2.5-liter V6 engine produces 190 horsepower and 179.3 lb-ft (243Nm) of torque, and it has an estimated fuel economy at around 9lt/100km (26.1 mpg US). While a 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 258 horsepower and 243.4 lb-ft (330Nm) of torque, and it has a fuel return of 10.4lt/100km (22.6 mpg US) on the combined cycle. Both engines are mated to a standard 6-speed automatic transmission with a manual shift function.
The all-new Renault Samsung Motors SM7 sedan is priced from 30 to 39 million Korean won (€19,724 to €25,641), which is about 2 to 3 million Korean won more than the previous-generation SM7 sedan.
