The new Suzuki Swift Sport is back with a new design and a more powerful engine for enthusiasts. Today, Suzuki released a new photo of its Swift Sport ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show.
The new Swift Sport is a refined sport compact car with a full revision to the original Swift Sport that was launched in 2006. From the photo, it looks more aggressive with a low-profile stance and a big front grille to show off sporty nature. Even the cabin gets a revision as well, which combines sportiness with a high-quality material to provide a sense of richness and excitement, much like the Suzuki Swift S-Concept’s interior.
The new Suzuki Swift is powered by a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine producing 135 horsepower at 6,900 rpm and maximum torque of 118 lb-ft at 4,400 rpm. Power is transferred to the front wheels via a newly 6-speed manual transmission. Considering the small size of the new Suzuki Swift Sport, it ought to deliver a kick with the 135-hp engine.
We’ll have more photos coming soon for the new Suzuki Swift Sport, stay tuned.
