2012 BMW X5 and X6 crossovers get more updates and features


BMW will be launching the 2012 BMW X5 and X6 crossovers this October, and it is adding new updates and features to spice up these crossovers a bit. And it will include new special edition versions, new exterior colors, new alloy wheel design, and additional optional equipment as well.

The 2012 BMW X5 and X6 will be available with the Exclusive Edition models. The BMW X5 Exclusive Edition gets a new paint job in Platinum Bronze Metallic color, while the X6 gets a Mineral Silver Metallic finish. The 2012 BMW X5 and X6 Exclusive Edition models also come with a new set of 20-inch alloy wheels.

As for the interiors of the 2012 BMW X5 and X6 Exclusive Edition crossovers, it is dressed in Anthracite, dark Bamboo wood trim, plus black floor mats accent with oyster-colored edging. In addition, it comes with heated sport seats with  dressed in oyster-colored leather with black contrasting seams.

For other 2012 BMW X5 and X6 crossovers, BMW added Citrine Black Metallic trim set to the BMW Individual option. And available to the X5 Sport Package, it will now include the new M steering wheel with gearshift paddles.

Lastly is the diesel-powered 2012MY X5 xDrive30d, which will be available with the BMW BluePerformance technology that further reduces the emission to meet the requirements of stricter EU6 emissions standards. BMW claims that its average fuel consumption is now rated at 7.5lt/100km (31.4 mpg US) with CO2 emissions of 198 g/km.

    Both BMW models seems to be interesting. BMW X5 in 2012 yet the comfort and beautiful without being too smart and bidding options for the treatment of leather and wood or aluminum trim.
