Speaking of the devil, here it is in the full flesh, the new 2013 Infiniti JX luxury crossover. After many torturing teaser images, the 2013 Infiniti JX crossover just made its debut today at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance event in Monterey, California.
From the looks, the design of the new 2013 Infiniti JX crossover is not all that new and impressive, or maybe just because is just another SUV. Infiniti dubbed the 2013 Infiniti JX as a crossover, but with seating for seven passengers, we think it is more of a SUV.
The design of the 2013 Infiniti JX crossover is inspired by the Infiniti M sedan and the Essence concept, noticeable are the slit front grille and the body curvatures.
The 2013 Infiniti JX will be powered by a V6 engine (most likely be a 3.7-liter V6), and it is mated to a “sports tuned” continuously variable transmission (CVT). The Infiniti JX will be offered with either an all-wheel version or a front-wheel drive version. In addition, it will also be offered with the Blind Spot Intervention and a new Backup Collision Intervention system, which can detect objects behind the vehicles and automatically engage the brakes to avoid a collision.
As for other amenities, the 2013 Infiniti JX crossover includes a 14-speaker Bose stereo system, Infiniti Connection Telematics, and a Personal Assistant program, which provides owners with 24-hour access to a team of professional assistants.
