Below is the latest official video of the 2012 Porsche 911 under cold weather testing with temperatures reaching -24 degrees Fahrenheit. The 2012 Porsche 911 will be the seventh generation of the sports car. As you can see in the video, it was shot in December 2010, and this tells us that Porsche has been developing this all-new 911 for almost three years.
Preliminary specifications has confirmed that the 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera is powered by a new 3.4-liter flat-six engine producing 350 horsepower and the Carrera S that gets a revised 3.8-liter engine rated at 400 horsepower. The two models can be equipped with the new 7-speed manual gearbox or the PDK double-clutch automatic transmission.
