2012 Audi A6 Avant Wagon gets more power along with sportier look from ABT Sportsline tuner


The new 2012 Audi A6 Avant Wagon won’t be available in showrooms until the first quarter of 2012, and already ABT Sportsline tuner got the first chop at it. ABT Sportsline aims to enhance both in the style and performance departments of the new 2012 Audi A6 Avant Wagon.

ABT Sportsline is introducing its latest AS6 modification package for all of 2012 Audi A6 Avant Wagon trims. The AS6 package includes both performance and styling upgrades. Straight out of the factory, the 2012 Audi A6 Avant Wagon produces about 204 horsepower with its 3.0-liter V6 turbo-diesel engine. With the performance upgrade, it jumps to 240 horsepower. Moving up to the more potent factory 245-hp TDI engine, it now produces 300 horsepower. Lastly is the factory 300-hp 3.0-liter V6 gasoline TSI engine, it now produces 420 horsepower, which enables the 2012 Audi A6 Avant Wagon to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 5.0 seconds.

Along with the power improvements is the new body kit to make the 2012 Audi A6 Avant Wagon even more sportier. The body kit includes a front apron, side skirts, a roof spoiler and a rear apron. To round out the look, ABT Sportsline added new 19- to 20-inch wheels all around along with the four exhaust pipes in the back.
