Porsche just introduced to us the new 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera yesterday, and today, a spy photo reveals that the company is in the process of developing the 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible.
It is not surprisingly that we see a new Porsche 911 convertible to follow soon after the coupe, and that is just what we got today. The 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible was caught testing at the track with its ragtop up. Although we hope to see a hardtop convertible Porsche 911 in the future, but that seems like a far distance from now. Here we got is the usual soft-cloth convertible version of the the 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo S.
From we know so far, the 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible will like be powered by a twin-turbocharged flat-six engine producing as estimated 550 horsepower. The engine is mated to either a standard 7-speed manual transmission or an optional seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission that features a four-wheel drive system.
One thing is for sure, it is likely that other Porsche’s usual model types will soon to follow for the 991 series. And these body types are the Coupe, Convertible, Targa and Speedster. The video also confirms that the new Porsche 911 models are coming, and it definitely means that the 2013 Porsche 911 Turbo S Convertible is coming as well.
